The International Marina Institute (IMI), the training subsidiary of the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), has posted a “Call for Presentations” to its website for its Drystack Conference, October 27–28, 2013, at the B Ocean Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

The Drystack Conference is a professional-development opportunity for those interested in the latest in drystack technology as part of their daily business responsibilities.

“We are asking for proposals that focus on the business of drystack storage, current trends, new technologies, and recent and upcoming projects,” Kayce Florio, IMI Training Coordinator, states.

“Hearing from marina professionals and AMI members is the first step in putting together a well-rounded program that meets the needs of the industry.”

Proposals should be geared toward IMI’s audience, which includes internationally acclaimed marina- industry professionals, Certified Marina Managers, Certified Marina Operators, and marina managers, owners, and operators.

Presentations can be designed from intermediate to advanced levels of experience. IMI asks that information be timely, informative, and educational without overt company or product promotions. Deadline for submissions is April 5, 2013.
