Canada 150 Celebrations – Partnering with Parks Canada at the Orillia, Peterborough and Smith Falls Meetings
With the announcement of Free Lockage at all Parks Canada Historic Canals for 2017, Boating Ontario is partnering with Parks Canada to bring together marina operators, municipal officials, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and tourism partners from along the Trent-Severn Waterway and Rideau Canal to discuss impacts to the system and ways to better prepare for what we expect will be a very busy navigation season.

During the meeting, Parks Canada will be looking to identify current mooring and service capacity and how best we can work together to deal with increased demand. They will also be launching a new and exciting service dedicated solely to our boater community – this new tool can be used, free of charge, by all of us to help promote the Waterways and the communities along its length.

NEW Webinar available for those who can’t attend a meeting in person. Watch for details on our webinar series coming soon!
