Northern Lights, Inc. (NLI) has appointed 35-year industry veteran Kevin Kyle as Area Manager for the Great Lakes and Inland Waterways Region.

The appointment represents NLI’s commitment to servicing the Great Lakes and U.S. Inland Waterways. Kevin will serve the needs of boat builders, architects, captains and end users of Northern Lights and Technicold products in the region. The market area includes commercial, military and government vessels, private yachts and trawlers, in both the United States and Canada.

“An area as diverse as the Inland Waterways and Great Lakes deserves a dedicated sales and service representative,” said Northern Lights Global Sales Manager Kit Purdy. “Kevin’s experience and enthusiasm makes him the ideal fit for the promotion of Northern Lights and Technicold products in the region, helping the entire marketplace achieve its potential with state of the art marine products,” he added.

A life-long boater, Kevin Kyle brings a wide variety of marine industry experience to the NLI team. Previously, he held positions as a Technical Sales Representative for AkzoNobel, manufacturer of Interlux & Awlgrip products, Director of Purchasing and Sales Manager at Vita-Plate Battery, Inc. and as a store manager for West Marine.

Kevin is also a U.S. Navy veteran, where shipboard life triggered an interest in workboats and the commercial marine industry. Dedicated to his family, he enjoys getting on the water with his wife and two boys as often as possible, especially in support of his sons’ competitive sailing activities during the summer.

Kevin can be reached via email at kkyle@northern-lights.com.
