KIMPEX’S EXPANSION INTO RUSSIA

Kimpex Russia

Kimpex, Canadian leader in the distribution of parts, accessories and clothing for powersports, today announced its expansion overseas with the opening of its Russian subsidiary.

This expansion will reinforce Kimpex’s position in the Russian market and the company will become the first Canadian distributor to get a direct foothold in the country.

“We have been present in Russia for several years now through local distributors. By setting up there directly, we will be able to offer better service to retailers and help them benefit from all our products,” maintains Michel Coté, Kimpex Vice President Sales.

The emerging market represents interesting potential for the company and justifies setting up a subsidiary in Saint Petersburg.

Michel Côté states: “We chose Saint-Petersburg as a location for our operations because it is a strategic location for us, a central base for our overall operations there.”

The first container left Canada a few days ago and will arrive at destination by mid-November, coinciding with the start-up of Kimpex Russia’s operations.

Kimpex products, CKX line of helmets/clothing and Commander Track kits will soon be available in the Saint-Petersburg warehouse in order to service all retailers in Russia.
