LOCK 42 OF THE TRENT-SEVERN OPENING FOR MAY LONG WEEKEND

Some the the Trent-Severn locks have been undergoing repairs in preparation for the opening of the 2016 boating season.

These pictures are a progress update from Lock 42, between Lake Couchiching and Sparrow Lake in Central Ontario.  Our friend, Phil Molto, Editor at Snowmobiler TV and Snowgoer Canada Media Ltd caught up with the work crew this week and was informed that the repairs will be done in time for the long weekend opening.  Water levels on the Trent-Severn are very good this spring.
