MAPLE LEAF MARINAS (MLM) IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE ACQUISITION OF WALKERS POINT MARINA, ON LAKE MUSKOKA

Walkers Point

Nov 6, 2020

Walkers Point has been providing service, storage and sales to the Muskoka boating clientele since 1979.

The operation provides rack storage and in-water slips for 650 boats, as well as annual mechanical and refinishing services to 1200 customers.  The Walkers Point sales team is Canada’s premier Cobalt dealer, and also represents high end boat lines, including Rossiter and Scout.

We are also pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Steve Tait, as General Manager, Walkers Point Marina.  Steve is one of the most knowledgeable marina operators in Ontario.

The Maple Leaf Portfolio now consists of 8 operating Marinas with 2500 in-water slips and 800 dry-stack racks.

Dave Rozycki, President of MLM remarked that, “the acquisition of Walkers Point adds another first-class Marina Facility to our growing portfolio.  Walkers is well known as a retailer of premium boat brands, but we were initially attracted to this operation by its significant boat slip and storage footprint, which aligns with  MLM’s core business.”
