Mercury Marine earned two 2015 Neptune awards from the Marine Marketers of America here Friday on opening day of the Miami International Boat Show.

Mercury’s 2015 Product Catalog was named by the MMA as the Best Product Literature, and Mercury’s new global Website received top honours as the Best Website.

“We are honoured to receive this recognition,” said Michelle Dauchy, chief marketing officer of Mercury Marine.

“Our mission with both the Mercury brochure and the Website was to help boaters easily choose the options best suited to their boating needs so they can confidently enjoy their time on the water. We are especially pleased that our products, Website and brochure meet the needs of boaters around the globe.”

MMA accepted entries in three new categories this year – Website, native advertising and diversity initiative. The most hotly contested categories included video, website and product literature.

“The 2015 Neptune Awards saw winners from all parts of the marine industry, from a family-run marine supply company in Alabama, to multinational global giants,” said Sally Helme, who served as chief among the 12 judges. “The Neptune Awards are judged on the basis of marketing excellence.”

The MMA, established in 2007, is a professional-development association working to enhance the success of marketing and communications professionals involved in the recreational marine industry.
