NEW MODELS OF EVERY SHAPE AND SIZE ON DISPLAY AT THE 2019 VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

Manhattan 65

Jan 22, 2019
M&P Mercury will debut the 66 Manhattan, one of the largest yachts in the show.

The 2019 Vancouver International Boat Show, Western Canada’s largest Boat Show, will see a number of exciting debuts and unveils – as more than 250 exhibitors display the latest and greatest. The following is just a glimpse of some of the models that will be on display between February 6-10, and what the upcoming boating season has to offer:

Lagoon 52 Catamaran
Fraser Yacht Sales will be showcasing the Lagoon 52 Catamaran, the biggest catamaran to ever appear at the Vancouver International Boat Show, and its first appearance in the Pacific Northwest. The 52 marks a whole new era in the design of cruising catamarans, with diamond-shaped vertical bows, bevelled hulls, its “as if” levitated deckhouse and tall rig.

Greenline 39 and 48
The SV Business Group will debut two models that are major milestones to promote environmentally friendly and sustainable boating. The new Greenline 39 is well suited for day trips and long cruises. The Greenline 48 is the next green innovation that presents exciting new features such as new interior design, NextGen Hybrid system, comfortable flybridge, two en-suite guest cabins, hydraulic platform, and utility compartment under the saloon.

66 Manhattan
The Vancouver International Boat Show is renowned for displaying some of the biggest and most luxurious yachts – and the 66 Manhattan definitely falls into the latter category. Presented by M&P Yacht Centre & Mercury Sales Ltd., this is the first Canadian showing of the model which won the 2018 Motorboat and Yachting award for “Best Flybridge over 66’.

43 Riviera Open Flybridge
Van Isle Marina will debut the 43 Riviera Open Flybridge, for fishing or blue-water cruising, in a classic Riviera flybridge design offering fine ‘easy living’ lifestyle, over three levels. World leading on-board technology makes the 43 easy to operate and skipper – while friends and family will revel in the spacious, well designed cockpit, luxurious saloon, indeed every part of life onboard.

Prestige 680
The Western Canadian debut of the Prestige 680 will be presented by Sundance Yacht Sales, and this model comprises all the key points that have made the Prestige line a success. The model features an interior design synonymous with light, space, ease of movement and privacy. With bold, timeless lines and high-quality materials, fit and finish, the Prestige 680 offers the same technical attributes found throughout the line, while also benefitting from the latest innovations

Coastal Craft 33 Profish
Specialty Yacht Sales Ltd. will debut the 2019 Coastal Craft 33 Profish, a leader in aluminum cruising and fishing vessels. At a top speed of 41 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 35 knots, you will experience the highest standard of speed and safety. Her luxurious interior features the best quality fit and finish in the industry, is equipped with state of the art electronics, sleeps two in a very comfortable forward cabin, and the cockpit has been specifically designed for fishing or cruising.

Tigé Boats
Seca Marine has some exciting offerings this year – among them, the all-new ZX1 which is not only one of the best looking 21’ boats on the market, it fits everything into a 21’ package that you would normally expect out of a much much larger boat. The ZX1 has the largest boat bow and cockpit space in the segment, massive surf wave, and the most luxurious interior.

Ferretti 550
Blackfish Marine introduces a model that combines elegance and a very sporty character. The main deck’s uninterrupted glazing ‘cuts’ the yacht’s profile, increasing its dynamic look, while the three large glazed surfaces on the hull sides – the cabin windows – perfectly harmonize with the overall design. The lowered flybridge and the new forward lounge area on the wheelhouse offer incredibly wide outdoor relaxation areas, ensuring great privacy with no impact on the craft’s slender profile.

Yamaha SX195
Among a host of Yamaha products at this year’s Show is the redesigned SX195, a speedster coupe on the water and revved for performance with its 1.8-litre supercharged Super Vortex High Output Yamaha marine engine. Add in Yamaha’s patented Articulating Keel, providing immediate steering response and maximum control, and you have a compact boat that stands out from the pack.

Tactical T-40
Tactical Custom Boats is debuting the T-40 Express Yacht, an elite aluminum boat designed for year-round use in the challenging weather conditions of the Pacific Northwest. This boat is built for safety, performance, and luxury with twin 657 HP Seven Marine outboard engines, navy grade suspension Shockwave seats, Seakeeper gyro stabilization, three station joystick handling and C-Zone engineering for complete control.  Super yacht finishing and an open living concept all add to the WOW aspect of this forward-thinking design.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
