The Atlantic Marine Trades Association held its Annual General Meeting at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron on November 9, 2017. A new President was elected along with the Board of Directors.

Tara Mills of Seamasters Services is the new President of AMTA. She is joined on the Board of Directors by past president Jason Craig of Quartermaster Marine. Zack Green of Mahone Marine, Lee Toole of Stright MacKay, Suzanne Rent, Bobby Mitchell of Wells Fargo, Chip Dickison of the Nova Scotia Boatbuilders Association, Norman Wiechert of NewStar Marine & Scooter, Chris Power of Sunnybrook Yachts, Mac Morrison of the Binnacle, Blair Gallant of Mercury Marine and Dan MacMillan of Gateway Insurance. Retiring members from the Board were Brad Fleet and Kathryn Newell.
