NMMA Canada’s Marie-France Mackinnon Named to Boating Industry’s “2026 Women Making Waves”

July 14, 2026

Boating Industry magazine recently announced its 2026 “Women Making Waves” honorees, recognizing women across the recreational boating industry who are making valuable contributions to the marine sector and helping lead their organizations and peers into the future.

This year’s honorees include Marie-France MacKinnon, executive director, NMMA Canada, who was recognized for her leadership, advocacy and contributions to the recreational marine industry.

As executive director of NMMA Canada, MacKinnon oversees the association’s strategic and advocacy efforts in Canada, working closely with members, government officials and industry stakeholders to advance key priorities for the Canadian recreational boating industry. Her leadership has included helping champion federal advocacy efforts on issues impacting marine manufacturers, including the repeal of Canada’s federal luxury tax on boats in Budget 2025.

NMMA congratulates MacKinnon and all of the 2026 honorees for their dedication, leadership and continued contributions to the recreational boating industry.
