The National Marine Representatives Association (NMRA) is offering special IBEX show pricing for new members. Manufacturers who join the organization at the Affiliate level during IBEX receive a 50% discount on the first year’s membership. NMRA’s booth is #2000.

There are many advantages to selling through independent marine reps—all of which mean more business and greater profits. NMRA Affiliate member benefits include access to the membership directory, sample contracts and personal networking with member marine rep groups.

For component and accessory manufacturers unfamiliar with selling through independent marine reps, NMRA is hosting educational sessions throughout the show. At booth #2000, Ask A Rep sessions are an opportunity to talk one-on-one with a working marine rep, in both OEM and aftermarket sales. Walk-ins are welcome between 10 am and 3 pm, Tuesday, Sept. 19 and Wednesday, Sept. 20, at NMRA booth #2000. Appointments can be made through info@nmraonline.org.

NMRA Ambassadors are exhibitors who use reps. 3M Marine (booth #1133), JMP Marine (#1553), Todd Marine Products (#433) and Turning Point Propellers (#500) will each have ambassadors to answer questions.

An anchoring system has two parts: the anchor itself and the rode which connects the anchor to the boat. To be effective, an anchor must have good holding power, and the rode must be strong enough to withstand the strains that are put on it.
