ROYAL VICTORIA YACHT CLUB SECURES HIGHEST ECO-RANKING IN CLEAN MARINE BC RECERTIFICATION OF ITS CADBORO BAY MARINA
The Royal Victoria Yacht Club’s Cadboro Bay marina has earned the highest certification in Clean Marine BC, a voluntary eco-certification program for recreational boating facilities that is run by Georgia Strait Alliance.

PAYNES / LAND’N’SEA VICTORIA MOVING TO NEW LOCATION
The Paynes / Land’N’Sea Victoria facility is moving to a new and bigger location at 6649 Butler Crescent in Saanichton, B.C. The opening will take place in mid-November. The company has announced that 30,100 sq ft of warehouse space will join with 7,400 sq ft of occife space.

ABYC AND TRANSPORT CANADA ANNOUNCE ONE SET OF MARINE SAFETY STANDARDS THROUGHOUT NORTH AMERICA
Transport Canada Marine Safety and Security (TCMSS) has published a policy on the acceptance of ABYC standards as an approved alternative method for small vessel compliance in Canada. The policy is effective as of Oct. 30, 2019.
