FUSION recently announced its FUSION-Link audio access system is now supported by the Furuno NavNet TZtouch2 series. Providing the ability to control all FUSION-Link enabled 700 and 750 Series marine entertainment systems capabilities and functions directly from the TZtouch2 multi-touch display, FUSION-Link makes it easy for Furuno owners to enjoy their onboard audio and video entertainment from their multi-function display (MFD).

The NMEA Product Awards Committee has made several changes in the annual product awards program that are designed to expand and improve the selection process. The program has two components-the NMEA Product Awards, which are chosen by NMEA members, and the NMEA Technology Award, which is selected by an independent panel of judges. All of the winners will be named at the NMEA International Marine Electronics Conference & Expo, which will be held at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore, MD, Sept. 29-Oct. 1 2015.
Seattle Yachts has recently been appointed the exclusive dealer of DeFever Motor Yachts for Washington, Oregon, Alaska and British Columbia, Canada. The brokerage will sell the entire line that ranges from 45′ to 70′ and has ordered a 2016 52′ Euro that will make its Pacific NW debut at the September Lake Union Boats Afloat Show.
The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), taking place September 15-17, 2015 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY, has announced that they have added additional exhibit space due in large part to the industry’s commitment to its 25th show and to meet current demand. The event will host over 500 exhibiting companies, of which 68 are currently new for 2015, with more being added each week.
