I’m writing this on Friday October 28 from my hotel room at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). I have lots of news from the front but I’m not sure what to make of it all.

Sale of Privilège completed – HanseYachts focuses on strategic core brands
As of October 17th, the acquisition of Privilège Marine SAS by a consortium led by long-time CEO Gilles Wagner has been completed. As part of its portfolio strategy, HanseYachts AG has parted from its stake in the French catamaran manufacturer based in Port Olona, Les Sables d’Olonne.

MacDonald Turkey Point Marina has raised another $22,175 for the London Children’s Health Foundation
On Wednesday October 5th, 2022, Brad Thomson, General Manager of MacDonald Turkey Point Marina, presented a cheque for $22,175 to Jennifer Baxter of the London Children’s Health Foundation. Also on hand for the cheque presentation were Haldimand- Norfolk MPP Bobbi Ann Brady, Julie and Kayla Thomson.
