ProSpec Electronics & UMMA renew contract

Prospec Electronics and UMMA

July 4, 2022

ProSpec Electronics and United Marine Manufacturers Association (UMMA) have agreed to renew their preferred audio supplier contract for an additional two years. Josh Berry, ProSpec VP of sales and marketing, made the announcement.

“UMMA is pleased to renew the contract with ProSpec as an audio supplier,” said Kim Liddycoat, UMMA VP. “They’ve become a valued and trusted partner to our members and we look forward to a successful future.”

The largest organization of boatbuilders in the marine industry, UMMA represents nearly 70 independent OEMs. It assists its members by improving their operational efficiencies and providing collective-purchasing access to products from the world’s leading accessory and component manufacturers. UMMA’s website is www.ummaonline.com.

“The marine audio market is highly saturated,” said Berry. “With UMMA, OEMs are assured they’re installing quality stereo components that will enhance their boats and ensure long-term brand loyalty. We’re honored that they’ve renewed their trust in our products.”

ProSpec Electronics pioneers and introduces marine audio products that reshape how people listen to music outdoors. It offers a wide range of receivers, amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers and complete stereo packages designed for simple OEM installation for specific boat models.
