Loki Boats Named Exclusive Canadian Dealer

Rayglass Boats, manufacturer of the world-renowned Protector range of RIB vessels, is proud to announce the appointment of Loki Boats as the exclusive dealer for Protector Boats in Canada. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, the dealership will operate as Protector Boats Canada, led by Loki Boats Founder and Principal, Matt Kirk-Buss.

The partnership marks Protector’s official entry into the Canadian market and delivers full access to the brand’s acclaimed range of high-performance Chase and Targa models, from 25 to 41 feet.

“This partnership is a perfect match,” said Matt Kirk-Buss, Founder of Loki Boats. “Protector’s legacy of performance and durability aligns seamlessly with our own values. With our deep understanding of RIB design and construction, we’re excited to bring these exceptional vessels to Canadian waters.”

The first delivery under this partnership, a Protector 310 Targa powered by twin Mercury V8 300hp outboards, has now landed in Vancouver, with additional units scheduled to follow. Known for their robust construction, smooth-riding hulls, and performance pedigree, Protector vessels are ideally suited for the challenging and diverse waterways of Canada’s coasts, islands, and inland lakes.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Loki Boats to the Protector dealer network,” said Lyndsay Turner, International Sales and Marketing Director for Protector Boats. “Matt’s expertise in RIB design and his commitment to quality make him the ideal partner to represent the brand in Canada. This collaboration ensures Canadian customers will have access to the full Protector range, backed by local knowledge and first-class service.”
