Quebec dealer and founder Paul Larocque recognized for nearly 60 years of partnership

Starcraft Marine has recognized R-100 Sport and its founder, Paul Larocque, with the Starcraft Marine Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring nearly six decades of partnership, service, and commitment to the boating industry.

Larocque founded R-100 Sport in 1967 in Bois-des-Filion, Quebec. The business has grown from a local marine retailer into one of Canada’s most established Starcraft Marine dealers. For nearly 60 years, it has served generations of boating families as a dedicated Starcraft Marine retailer.

In 2008, R-100 Sport received the first-ever Harold A. Schrock Cornerstone Award, which recognizes a dealer for outstanding sales, service, and commitment to Starcraft Marine.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a contribution that extends far beyond years of sales or performance. It celebrates the enduring relationship between R-100 Sport and Starcraft Marine, as well as the people, customers, and communities that have been part of that journey.

R-100 Sport has navigated generations of change in the marine industry, from evolving boat designs and technology to shifting economic conditions and customer expectations. Through it all, the company has stayed focused on the fundamentals that define its business: relationships, product knowledge, customer service, and standing behind the products it sells.
