Richard Straka has been promoted to General Manager for Mercury Canada

Randy Caruana, VP Sales North/Central America & Asia Pacific has announced that Richard Straka has been promoted to the position of General Manager for Mercury Canada, effective Dec. 4, 2023. 

Richard joined Mercury in 2021 as Category Director, where he successfully developed market analytics to drive management decisions and market positioning. In his current role as Director of Supply Chain and Operations Strategy, he has worked closely with stakeholders across Mercury to optimize inventory management and successfully completed projects focused on process optimization. Richard is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has worked his entire career in building OEM relationships at GE Capital and Wells Fargo before joining Mercury Marine in 2021.  Richard’s deep knowledge of the marine industry, specifically in Canada, will allow us to continue growing market share.
 
Jonathan Levine, who has been General Manager for Mercury Canada since August of 2021, will be moving to the role of Vice President & General Manager, Regional Operations – Freedom Boat Club for Business Acceleration.
