A picture is worth 1000 words. To show new features and demonstrate some frequently asked questions, we are starting a new series of short videos on Tiktok and YouTube Shorts. A new one will be released on both platforms about every 4 days, so subscribe to see more.

The video above is a sneak-peak from an episode that is not released yet: How to View Wind Conditions at Your Boat Remotely From Home.

Until now, the SailTimer chartplotter app has only been for sailboat navigation. But our crowdsourced wind maps are also useful for other boaters, who also want accurate information on the wind and sea state. There are new releases coming for the SailTimer app on iOS and Android, and we are broadening the design for all types of boats: kayaks, aluminum fishing boats, waterski boats, cabin cruisers, sportfishers, and commercial work boats.

All other apps and weather services show the same satellite weather. So, this sneak peek and the other short videos in the series will show you some new capabilities with accurate, high-resolution wind maps that have never been possible until now. There is also more information about this at our new website at www.SailTimer.boats
