October 21, 2025

Shockwave Seats, a global manufacturer of marine suspension seating, announces a new partnership with ComMar Sales, a long-standing and respected marine manufacturer’s representative group serving the U.S. East and Gulf Coast.

“Shockwave leads the way in marine suspension seating, delivering unmatched comfort, safety, and performance in the harshest conditions,” said Norm MacLeod, Vice President of ComMar Sales. “We’ve watched their products excel in the marine industry for years, and we’re excited to bring these solutions to our customers and expand their presence across our territory. This partnership is a natural fit, and we’re ready to get started.”

For more than 50 years, ComMar Sales has built its reputation as a trusted resource for boatbuilders, OEMs, distributors and dealers. The group represents a diverse portfolio of category-leading brands and delivers advanced solutions for the recreational, commercial, and military marine sectors. The addition of Shockwave’s recreational products strengthens this portfolio with best-in-class suspension seating designed for recreational and high-performance applications.

ComMar brings a team of 12 experienced sales reps to expand the Shockwave sales team and introduce Shockwave to the OEM market in the region they serve. The ComMar team will be introducing Shockwave’s recreational suspension product line to their established East Coast, and Gulf Coast builder network.

“The addition of the ComMar sales team will greatly expand Shockwave’s opportunity with recreational and commercial boatbuilders who aren’t yet familiar with suspension products or the Shockwave brand,” commented Sean Gerrett, Director of Sales, Shockwave Seats. “We are excited to begin working with the ComMar team to help them build our presence on the East Coast.”

Together, Shockwave Seats and ComMar Sales will enhance expectations in marine seating —delivering breadth of product, suspension innovation, reliability and service to builders, while advancing comfort and safety expectations on the water. Visit: https://shockwaveseats.com.
