Six Brunswick Marine EMEA operations earn Great Place to Work® certification

Brunswick Corporation (NYSE:BC) announced December 20th, that six of its locations in Europe have been given the title of Great Place to Work® Certified. The recognition is based on direct feedback from employees, provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about the workplace experience.

The certification was awarded to Brunswick Marine in The Netherlands, Italy, Finland, Norway, and France, along with Lankhorst Taselaar in The Netherlands.

“We are honored to receive these Great Place to Work® certifications, which affirms our commitment to a positive and inclusive culture,” said Jill Wrobel, Brunswick Corporation chief human resources officer. “This designation also means we have created an environment that attracts and retains talent, which is essential for our business to be competitive.”

Brunswick Marine distributes an extensive range of engines, boats and marine parts and accessories to marinas and boat facilities throughout Europe. Brands include Mercury Marine outboard engines; MerCruiser sterndrive/inboard; Mercury parts and accessories including propellers and SmartCraft electronics, MotorGuide, Attwood, Quicksilver parts and oils, Boston Whaler, Sea Ray; and The Venture Group’s Bayliner, Quicksilver and Uttern boats.

Lankhorst Taselaar distributes more than 12,000 different products to water sports related companies such as water sports shops, shipyards, sailmakers etc. in the Benelux, Germany, England, Ireland, Spain and Denmark.

The 2024 Marine Electronics Conference & Expo, held by the National Marine Electronics Association, (NMEA) took place September 16 to the 20th in Providence, Rhode Island. Boating Industry Canada was there for the first time and we were very impressed with what we found.

The association is very well supported and virtually any significant marine electronics company that you could name, was represented there on the Exhibitor list at the Expo as well as all being NMEA members and very supportive of the organization.
