Smartgyro Showcased Advanced Stabilization Technology at Miami International Boat Show

Smartgyro Advanced Stabilization Technology

Feb 11, 2025

Smartgyro, a pioneer in advanced marine stabilization technology, showcased its latest solutions at the 2025 Miami International Boat Show. Attendees had the chance to meet the team and learn more about the brand’s innovations in gyro stabilization. Designed to reduce roll motion, Smartgyro’s systems significantly improve onboard comfort and safety, making them suitable for both new builds and refits. These systems are beneficial for recreational powerboats and light-duty commercial vessels, offering onboard serviceability that eliminates the need for vessel lift-outs, helping to reduce maintenance costs and downtime.

Spanning two key locations during this year’s event, Smartgyro presented its SG20, the stabilizer of choice for boats ranging from 45 to 55ft. The stabilizer displayed alongside an interactive totem display, offering visitors a detailed insight into the company’s latest innovative technology. The SG20 featured alongside partnering brands VETUS and Maxwell, from the YANMAR Marine Recreational Business Unit at Stand #MB1514, located in the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Visitors also had the opportunity to explore Smartgyro’s SG40 and SG80 models, ideal for larger vessels, ranging from 50 and 70ft, on display at the YANMAR Mastry stand, located at #HP3P in Herald Plaza at Venetian Marina.

Smartgyro’s presence at the Miami International Boat Show marked an important milestone in the company’s journey of global growth. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024, Smartgyro achieved significant progress by expanding its dealer and distributor network. This momentum continues with the recent appointment of new dealers across North America and Internationally, broadening access to its advanced stabilization technology. The company is also strengthening its foothold in emerging markets, including South Korea and Hong Kong, further extending its global reach.

Bob Walker, Sales Manager, USA at Smartgyro said: “The Miami International Boat Show is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our latest innovations and engage with the global boating community. With the continued expansion of our dealer network in the U.S. and internationally, we are excited to offer boat owners advanced stabilization technology that significantly enhances their time on the water. The growing demand for our products highlights the importance of providing superior, reliable solutions to the global market”.
