Investigative work will be conducted on concrete lock walls at Talbot Locks 39 – 41 between Bolsover and Gamebridge, from April 13 to April 29, 2016. Similar work will take place at Lock 42 Couchiching near Washago beginning April 17.

This work is being conducted in order to determine the quality and condition of the existing concrete structures. It will entail concrete coring, sampling and testing, and will inform future concrete repair work in these areas.
