XANTREX APPOINTS NEW SALES MANAGER ON THE EAST COAST

Nathan Costa

Xantrex achieved strong growth in 2014 and is set to build upon that. Thanks to the robustness of the mobile AC power market accelerated by the improved economic environment, Xantrex has embarked on an aggressive growth plan for 2015.

Xantrex adopted a regional sales structure last year to be closer to its customer base to enable faster response time and the ability to quickly implement customer and market specific projects including training, merchandising and regional sales events. The recent appointment of Nathan Costa as the East Coast sales manager propels this strategy forward and adds a young, energetic and passionate individual to the Xantrex sales team. Costa will manage an existing account portfolio and explore new opportunities within the marine, RV, commercial truck, distribution and OEM channels.

Costa, based out of Providence, R.I., joins the Xantrex team from the Schneider Electric IT business where he served as the service manager responsible for over $6 million in service contracts. He is nominated for Schneider Electric’s prestigious “Presidential Candidate” award for his outstanding effort in creating new business opportunities in 2014. Costa has worked in various sales capacities within Schneider Electric before his appointment as the service manager.

“Nathan is customer centric and understands the value of great service. He has a sharp business acumen and believes in strong relationships. Our business is very much relationship-driven which is where Nathan excels and in addition, he also brings a solid technical background that will support our OEM and aftermarket partners,” said John McMillan, director of sales for Xantrex branded products at Schneider Electric.
