Yacht Sales & Brokerage Firms Adopt the IYBA Digital Services Suite

June 2, 2026

In a press release dated May 26, 2026, we learned that the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) has announced that several of the marine industry’s new yacht and brokerage sales firms, including Brewer Yacht Sales, Galati Yacht Sales, and HMY Yachts, have adopted its new suite of industry services as the digital backbone of their business. These firms are utilizing IYBA’s BoatDox.org to process their deals and related documents online, YachtBroker.org to help create, manage and disseminate their MLS boat listings, and Yachtr.com to market those listings to the public.

“We feel it is a bold and assertive move by these firms and the more than 200 other companies now using one or more of IYBA’s industry-owned digital platforms to look beyond ‘traditional’ marine MLS services and regain control of their central boat listings and proprietary digital marketing campaigns. Our hats are off to them for recognizing the hard work IYBA has done to engineer a modern alternative to outdated methods of processing, warehousing and disseminating digital data,” said IYBA Chief Operating Officer Paul Flannery.

Galati Yacht Sales of Anna Maria, Fla., was one of the first industry leaders to beta-test and then fully embrace the IYBA’s digital platforms.

“We’re very excited to have transitioned our team onto the IYBA’s digital services platform,” said Galati Yacht Sales Broker Carmine Galati Jr. “Our brokerage operations are now fully integrated with BoatDox for e-signature agreements and co-brokerage workflows, delivering both simplicity and a high level of data security. YachtBroker.org provides a robust MLS environment with actionable market insights, high-quality marketing materials, and continually evolving comparable sales data. On the consumer side, Yachtr.com offers a clean, modern interface – free of ads and unnecessary noise – creating a significantly improved experience for today’s buyers. Combined with recent investments in SEO, GEO, and broader digital initiatives, we’re confident these platforms will continue to drive meaningful lead generation and support sustained inventory growth across the network – while equipping our sales, marketing, and business office teams with the tools needed to operate more efficiently and deliver greater value to our customers.”

Hal Slater, president of Brewer Yacht Sales in Westbrook Conn., said: “Times have changed and buyers aren’t shopping at one particular website any longer – that “front door” is gone. Buyers now have a highway of data available to them … and our listings need to be on that highway. We believe today’s yacht brokerage business demands more than just exposure – it requires accuracy, efficiency, transparency, and seamless collaboration. That’s why we’ve aligned our operations with the industry association-owned digital services platforms YachtBroker.org and BoatDox.org to form the backbone of our MLS listing distribution and document-processing operations. These integrated platforms allow our brokers to deliver faster, more accurate listings, streamlined transactions, secure digital documentation, and greater market visibility for our clients’ vessels. By embracing the most advanced tools available in the marine industry, Brewer Yacht Sales continues to uphold the standards of integrity, trust, and experience our clients have come to expect.”
