Speaking about luxury tax at the conference is Greg Loerts. He is a consultant with Bluesky Strategy Group – a communications and government relations firm in Ottawa. He joined Bluesky after over three years working on Parliament Hill with the Conservative Party of Canada, most recently serving as a policy advisor.
 
In that role, Greg led policy files including Natural Resources, Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, and Rural Economic Development and Rural Broadband, and was heavily involved in the Natural Resources and the Indigenous and Northern Affairs committees. Greg provided policy advice and briefings on a range of topics, including Indigenous economic reconciliation, criminal reform, firearms legislation, rural broadband development, energy security, and the responsible development of Canadian natural resources, encompassing mining, oil and gas, forestry, and renewables.

BC Ferries vessel Queen of Surrey is expected to remain out of commission until the end of the month, according to BC Ferries.
