Tactical Custom Boats announces the sale to a North American client of a custom Tactical 77’ – Fast Pilothouse Motoryacht. The vessel is designed and engineered by Bill Prince Yacht Design of Wisconsin, US and will be built by Tactical at their shipyard in British Columbia.

Tactical Custom Boats are high-performance, Tactical Tough™ aluminum hull, luxury, all-weather boats for the recreational and commercial markets. The 77’ yacht will feature a high-performance Bill Prince-designed hull form, gyro stabilization, suspension seating, leading electronics and an open cockpit layout with a unique articulating transom platform to allow a variety of tenders and toys to be launched and retrieved without a davit. Bill Prince has developed a fully modern yacht interior utilizing carbon fiber construction for light weight.

Sea trials of this fast yacht are expected in 2019. Top speed is “classified” at this time.

Bill Prince says, “Our client has a specific set of requirements for this remarkable boat which are simply not available from any other vessel of this size today. We’ve designed go-anywhere capability and luxurious accommodations inside aggressive, pseudo-military exterior styling. Tactical Custom Boats is uniquely qualified to meet and exceed our expectations for this one-of-a-kind yacht”.

Tim Charles, Tactical Custom Boats Principal, adds, “How can we not be excited about this boat? These are the kind of build projects boat builders dream about. This project will allow us to show the full capabilities of the Tactical Team”.

Tactical will debut its first build this spring with a sold T-40 Express Yacht. Key features of this boat are twin Seven Marine 627 HP engines (1254 HP), three station joystick controls, Seakeeper 5 Gyro stabilizing system, motorized sunroof and cockpit awning, and superyacht quality finishing. A second T-40 hull is under construction and available for purchase.

Tactical Custom Boats is located at 11580 Mitchell Road, Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver, BC Canada. Tactical Custom Boats is a brand of Platinum Marine (2010) Ltd.
