NMDA ANNOUNCES NEW DATES FOR S.T.E.P. 2021

NMDA

Mar 30, 2021

The NMDA Board of Directors has announced the new dates for S.T.E.P. 2021. The event is scheduled for Monday, August 2nd opening with the Annual Meeting at 4 PM and ending at 6 PM on Thursday, August 5th. “The continuing rollout of the vaccination process leaves us optimistic that we will be able to hold our ‘traditional’ event” said Mike Conners of Land ‘N’ Sea and President of NMDA.

Nancy Cueroni, Executive Director of NMDA, stated “our goal, and our hope, is that we will hold an in-person event this year. We will of course be following CDC and State of Illinois guidelines when presenting S.T.E.P to our members”. She continued “if restrictions are still in place for face-to-face meetings; we will make whatever changes we can to safely hold S.T.E.P. if at all possible”

S.T.E.P. (Sales, Training, Education and Purchasing) was held for 28 consecutive years until the cancellation of the 2020 event. 2019 was one of the largest events with more than 70 buyers and 900 plus purchasing meetings and we anticipate 2021 will prove to be another worthwhile program for NMDA members.

S.T.E.P. will be held in Rosemont IL, which is near O’Hare International Airport. For more information about the event, or NMDA, please contact Nancy Cueroni, Executive Director, at info@nmdaonline.com.

An anchoring system has two parts: the anchor itself and the rode which connects the anchor to the boat. To be effective, an anchor must have good holding power, and the rode must be strong enough to withstand the strains that are put on it.
