Nominate Your Boating Heroes Today – CANADIAN SAFE BOATING AWARDS

The Canadian Safe Boating Council wants to acknowledge these heroes and showcase their commitment to safe boating. The CANADIAN SAFE BOATING AWARDS, usually called the CASBAs, honours the people, programs, and organizations that help to make boating in Canada safer and better for all of us.

Who are these heroes?

They could be a family or individual who saves a life; a boating safety advocate, a volunteer or teacher whose passion for boating engages people and influences boating safety; a professional with a legacy of work dedicated to boating safety, a member of the media or an industry partner who embraces boating safety. They are all heroes, and we want to share their stories.

This extensive list of Award Categories recognizes the many different ways a person or organization can merit an award.

 A heroic deed or rescue executed on the water in Canada

 

TOP VOLUNTEER DEDICATED TO SAFE BOATING

An individual who goes above and beyond promoting and practicing safe boating in canada

 

SAFEGUARDING THE ENVIRONMENT

Company, product or organization dedicated to reducing marine pollution and making boating more environmentally friendly

 

MARINE PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR

An outstanding act of boating safety or body of work by a marine organization professional

 

VISIBLE PFD WEAR IN ADVERTISING

A marketer that consistently or innovatively promotes visible PFD wear

 

MARINE INDUSTRY

A company or individual who has introduced a boating product or technology that improves boating safety

 

BEST BOATING SAFETY INITIATIVE

A successful safe boating initiative conducted in Canada

 

BEST MEDIA  CONTRIBUTION TO BOATING SAFETY

A media outlet that promotes boating safety

 

SPECIAL RECOGNITION
