Exciting changes at Newport Exhibition Group
Newport Exhibition Group, owners and producers of the Newport International Boat Show (NIBS), announced that after leading the Show for over two decades, Nancy Piffard, show director, is retiring. Desiring a continuity of leadership, Lisa Knowles, who has been the Show’s senior sales manager, has been promoted to replace Piffard.

boot Düsseldorf will not take place in 2022
Due to the spread of the omicron virus variant, further restrictions have been in place in Germany since 28 December, including on events. Following the meeting of the Minister Presidents of the federal states on the pandemic situation on 21 December 2021, North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) banned the holding of large events with spectators in January.

The first issue of Sailing in Canada, a brand-new digital digest produced by Canadian Yachting Media in partnership with Sail Canada, the national governing body for the sport of sailing, was deployed last Wednesday and has already proved a hit.
