Providing up-to-date information and economic data to Canadians is a the core of CADA’s mission, and this report remains the best and most comprehensive way of keeping track of all the important trends, market transformations and industry insights relevant to the automotive retail industry.

This report gives more access to the consumers, public officials, academics and economic experts wishing to learn more about the intricacies and nuances of an industry that employs more than 160 000 Canadians, generates over $28 billion in GDP and $6.3 billion in tax revenue.

This year, CADA  expanded the scope of the data and insights provided by this document through enhanced partnerships with important contributors such as Statistics Canada, Canadian Black Book, J.D Power, Desrosiers Automotive Consultants, NCM associates and MNP.

Tim Reuss, president and CEO of CADA, underlined this: “Better education of the public on the reality of auto dealerships is dependent on the quality of the information presented. The amazing  support we received from our industry partners  has allowed us to include more data and more refined analysis in the 2023 Data Report.
