Jeanneau unveils EX, a new range of motor boats that embraces the philosophy of essentials. The EX 34, first of its kind, will have its world premiere at CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL, from September 8 to 13, 2026, in Hardtop version. A range that enriches the brand’s universe alongside Leader, NC, TH and DB Yachts.

With EX, Jeanneau opens a new chapter. As always, each range from the shipyard reflects a way of navigating; EX – pronounced «E-X» – explores a territory still largely untapped: that of serene discovery, in all seasons, freed from the superfluous.

EX, Ready When You Are.

EX stands for Elements and Crossplatform. The name says it all: a boat designed around a direct connection with the sea and the outdoors, built on a versatile platform that adapts to different ways of using and enjoying the water, capable of taking on all seas and all seasons, and extending the pure experience of being on the water throughout the year. One conviction guides the range: focus on what really matters, and eliminate what complicates, to offer a boat that is clear, intuitive and reassuring.

A RANGE THAT EXPANDS JEANNEAU’S HORIZONS

EX is not a derivative. It is a complete range, equipped with its own deep-V hull, specifically designed for this project. Where Leader cultivates pleasure and sportiness, where NC champions liveability and versatility, where TH opens a new vision of space in motor catamaran, and where DB Yachts embodies the art of premium day- boating, EX carves out a complementary path: that of a boat focused on real-world use, which concentrates its qualities on what truly serves and dispensable with everything else.

This approach speaks to a wide audience. To experienced sailors who know exactly what they want, of course. But also, and this is new, to those discovering the sea and wanting to satisfy a hunger for open air without being intimidated: the EX is immediately understood, handled without apprehension, and invites you to set sail from day one. For these thoughtful explorers, confidence matters more than adrenaline, and discovery more than pure performance.

EX is built on a clear idea: a boat that is immediately understood, economical in use, and whose qualities will endure over time. A standard configuration designed for navigation, options organized by use rather than in endless lists, and this guiding principle: an enriched version with options is never a downgraded version. All at a price point designed to remain accessible. 

EX 34: THE FIRST OF THE RANGE, IN TWO MODELS

The EX 34 measures just under ten metres overall, with a 3.2-metre beam, and combines a compact and lightweight deep-V hull with twin outboard engines delivering strong, confident performance. Built on the same deck platform, it comes in two versions, each offering a different way to experience the EX concept.

EX 34 HARDTOP – MAXIMUM CONTACT WITH NATURE

The EX 34 Hardtop is the most open expression of the EX concept, designed to maximise contact with the sea and the surrounding environment.

              • An open and versatile aft cockpit centred around a generous sunpad, creating a natural space to relax, enjoy the sun and stay close to the water.

              • A quick-deploy soft enclosure providing shelter when conditions change, while preserving the open-air character of the boat.

EX 34 CABIN – MAXIMUM COMFORT

The EX 34 Cabin brings the same versatile platform into a fully protected environment, designed to maximise comfort while maintaining a strong connection with the outside.

              • A fully glazed rigid wheelhouse with a large sliding bay window, combining protection, visibility and natural light.

              • Climate-controlled comfort, with air conditioning or heating available on the rigid enclosure, extending use across a wider range of seasons and climates.

              • A convertible helm station, transforming into a comfortable interior lounge while remaining connected to the sea and surroundings.

ONE PLATFORM. MANY POSSIBILITIES.

Both versions share the same five-space architecture: aft platforms, aft cockpit, central saloon, helm station and forward lounge.

At the centre, a convertible saloon with an integrated galley, fully sheltered beneath the generous roof, provides a versatile space for preparing meals, dining and relaxing.

Below deck, two cabins and a separate head provide genuine overnight capability on both versions. From fast coastal runs and swimming stops to time at anchor, entertaining friends or carrying leisure equipment, the EX 34 adapts to the way each day unfolds.
