Princecraft Boats was awarded the prestigious NMMA Innovation Award in the “Pontoon” category at the 2025 Minneapolis Boat Show. This recognition was given for the company’s ground-breaking new model, the Vogue 25 RL, which made its highly anticipated boat show debut earlier this month.

The Vogue 25 RL, part of the luxury-focused Vogue series, raises the bar in pontoon design, combining modern aesthetics with cutting-edge features that set a new standard for luxury, innovation, and accessibility in the boating industry.

“We are incredibly honored to receive Princecraft’s first-ever Innovation Award,” said Rodier Grondin, President of Princecraft Boats. “The Vogue 25 RL brings a fresh, modern style to the water, blending advanced technology, superior craftsmanship, and exceptional value. This boat is unlike anything we’ve ever brought to market, and we are proud of our team’s hard work and dedication. This award is a testament to their effort, and we look forward to welcoming more boaters to the Princecraft family through the Vogue series.”

Launched in October 2024, the Vogue 25 RL offers a premium boating experience with innovative features, including a durable thermoplastic ABS exterior with a sleek laminated acrylic finish, dynamic RGB lighting, and a state-of-the-art digital control system. Additional features include an all-new wakeboard tower, an optional 15-inch Simrad® Ultrawide display (with a 9-inch display as standard), and a top-tier Hertz sound system, all designed to enhance every outing on the water.

Innovation award judges commented on the Vogue 25 RL stating: “The Princecraft Vogue 25 RL introduces new contoured side panels with a dual-skin design formed of smooth acrylic that is backed by an ABS structure. This material offers an outstanding finish and the opportunity to form complex shapes, is very durable and is lighter than fiberglass. It is the first time this construction has been featured in marine,” said judge Charles Plueddeman.

The Innovation Awards program, organized by NMMA and judged by Boating Writers International (BWI), honors manufacturers and suppliers who bring new, innovative products for the boating industry to market. The award acknowledges products that best meet criteria including innovative distinction from other products currently being manufactured, benefit to the marine industry and/or consumer, practicality, and cost-effectiveness. The judging committee is comprised of BWI members who perform product testing throughout the year and have expertise in marine products.
