DAVID JONES JOINS WOODARD AND COMPANY AS DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

John Reid, President of Woodard and Company, announced that David Jones has joined the company as Director of Business Development, effective January 14, 2019.

“David has a wealth of Canadian and international sales and operational experience, most recently with Scepter Corporation,” Mr. Reid said. “He is well known in the industry for his ability to understand shifting market dynamics and identify new growth opportunities. I’m delighted that he has chosen to join Woodard.”

Mr. Jones spent 12 years with Scepter Corporation, a processor of fuel-related and other molded plastic products. He served as the director of the marine products group, where he was responsible for selling and marketing for Scepter’s whole line of original equipment manufacturer and aftermarket marine products.
Before his time with Scepter, Mr. Jones worked for VarioLineSystems Inc., a German manufacturer of polymer sheet products for the marine, RV, and building industries, as general manager for North America, creating new, U.S.-based business operations for the European parent company. He worked in a variety of other management, sales, and marketing roles prior to this. Mr. Jones holds an MBA in industrial marketing and a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Toronto .
“David will be a great asset to Woodard,” Mr. Reid said. “I look forward to seeing him succeed in this role.”
