June 26, 2017

Freedom Boat Club President and CEO John Giglio recently announced the appointment of Barry Slade as Vice President of Business Development.

In this newly created position, Slade assumes responsibility for international franchise development, new marina acquisition initiatives and both supporting and cultivating key marine industry relationships.

“Our significant growth over the past few years and our goal for continued expansion abroad really precipitated the need for hiring a highly qualified executive to fill this unique position,” said Giglio. “Barry brings a wealth of senior level experience to this role and his work in global sales and marketing, as well as in directing marina sales and acquisitions, will be put to good use at Freedom Boat Club.”

A 28-year marine industry veteran, Slade joins Director of Franchise Development David Aldrich who oversees U.S. franchise development initiatives.
