Furuno USA welcomes industry veterans Philip Sweeny & Adrian Navarro to support their sales team

Furuno USA has hired two new sales associates covering the Gulf of Mexico and Southeast regions. Mr. Philip Sweeny and Mr. Adrian Navarro come to Furuno with many years of practical knowledge and hands-on experience under their belts.

Philip is a 20-plus year marine industry veteran, beginning his career with a technical degree in Marine Service Technology. His experience covers a broad range of marine propulsion, rigging, and electrical components. Over the past 10 years, he has operated his own yacht maintenance company, built a multi-million-dollar sales and service dealership for one of the largest boat dealers in the country, and managed a team of regional sales associates for one of the largest global marine electronics and accessories companies. As a father of two, Philip spends his free time teaching and creating experiences for his own children around his passion for boating. His territory will cover the Gulf of Mexico and Inland Rivers regions.

Adrian was born and raised in Miami, FL, and has been boating and fishing for as long as he can remember. In 2012, Adrian began working in earnest in the marine industry as a Maritime Sales Manager for Atlantic Radio Telephone, becoming Director of Marine Operations in just six years. Adrian is passionate about boating, fishing, and the marine sciences and is NMEA MEI certified. Adrian DJs and plays golf in his free time. His territory will cover the Southeast region.
