GLOMEX OPENS US OFFICE, APPOINTS CHRIS CATOE TO LEAD

The leading global manufacturer of marine antennas, Glomex SRL has established a North American office and warehouse in Brooklyn, New York and Dayton, Ohio, respectively. Glomex Marine Antennas USA Corp is led by industry insider Chris Catoe, who has been appointed sales director. RaffaeleFabbri, Glomex general manager, made the announcement.

Italy-based Glomex has been selling its products into North America for 30 years with positive reception; it’s the only antenna manufacturer that offers a lifetime warranty. The company has a culture of customer care and passion for innovation, and Catoe and his team will carry on this tradition.

Most recently, Catoe was a sales manager and sales engineer for Shakespeare Electronic Products Group. Prior, he ran a communications company. With a strong background as a broadcast engineer, he brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his role.

“Chris has an unparalleled reputation in the marine industry,” said Fabbri. “We know we have placed this new venture in very capable hands.”

BC Ferries vessel Queen of Surrey is expected to remain out of commission until the end of the month, according to BC Ferries.
