LOOKOUT Names Kate MacKay O’Brien Chief Marketing Officer

LOOKOUT, the AI pioneer in marine safety, has announced that it has welcomed experienced industry professional Kate MacKay O’Brien as its Chief Marketing Officer. In her role, MacKay O’Brien will direct and oversee all marketing activities for LOOKOUT as it expands its global reach.
 
MacKay O’Brien brings with her over 18 years of marketing leadership across Fortune 500 companies and high-growth marine technology startups. As part of her marine industry experiences, she served as CMO of Siren Marine (Yamaha Motor Corp.), where she spearheaded a comprehensive brand refresh and full overhaul of marketing and sales content to support the launch of their flagship IoT Connected Boat® product, earning national awards from the Marine Marketers of America. As Brand Marketing Director for Freedom Boat Club (Brunswick Corporation), she led a multi-phase brand transformation to elevate the brand and attract growth segments for the global, over 400 location boat club. She successfully managed the launch of the new brand strategy and a comprehensive campaign across all marketing channels.

MacKay O’Brien joins LOOKOUT’s leadership team of passionate boaters including Chief Operating Officer Howie Hecht, Head of Customer Success Marta Downing, Chief Revenue Officer Phillip Edwards, Chief Technology Officer Benjamin Kiefer and VP of Product and design Chris McRobbie.
