Mike has been an integral member of the Georgian Bay boating community for over 28 years. Beginning his career at Beacon Bay Marina, Mike has held leadership positions with Bayport Yachting Centre, Friday Harbour and as President of Boating Ontario. Mike holds the designation of Certified Marina Manager, and was one of the first in Canada to receive this designation.

Mike’s style centres around regular dock walks and discussions with boaters and guests, getting a feel for the community he leads and represents.

“My passion for the people and waters of Georgian Bay has led me to the opportunity with Wye Heritage Marine Resort and I feel as though I’m coming home. I look forward to building relationships with boaters and staff and encourage everyone to please reach out to say hello, my door is always open”.
