NMMA’S JENNIFER THOMPSON NAMED FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT OF IFSBO

Jennifer Thompson, Senior Vice President of NMMA Shows was named the first female president of the International Federation of Boat Show Organizers (IFBSO) on Friday, June 7 in Split, Croatia at their annual conference. Thompson replaces Goetz-Ulf Jungmichael following his third two-year tenure. 

IFSBO is an organization made of international member organizations that help foster cost-effective, quality exhibitions for the recreational marine industry around the world. IFBSO provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and development of co-operation between members that also encourages all members to commit to environmental sustainability around all aspects of member’s shows.

Peacock has been a member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63 for 31 years, making him one of the longest-serving members in the province.
