The industry is saddened to announce the passing of Doris Baxter-Forbes, founder of Monto Reno Marina in Lefroy.  

BAXTER-FORBES, Doris (Founder of Monto Reno Marina, Lefroy and Past Matron of Eastern Star, Stroud Chapter) Doris suddenly, but peacefully, passed away at her home on Friday, April 16, 2021. Doris (nee Wuerth) of Lefroy at 95 years of age. Beloved Wife of Wilson. Loving Mom of Heather (Laird) Hollingshead, Bonnie (Art) Enwright and Tracey Baxter-Goodwin. Proud Gram of Shallen (Scott), Shane; Art Jr. (Melanie), Patti (Stewart), Stacey (Dennis), Scott (Jess); Roslyn and Tori. Cherished Great “Cottage Gram” of Aaliyah, Raina, Brinley, Greyson; Hayley, Adam, Ben, Sami, Rylynn, Amelia, Cole and Jake. Dear sister-in-law of Bill (Lorna) Forbes, Gwen MacLean and John (Jill) Forbes. Doris will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and family within her hometown of Crediton. Doris will be fondly remembered by many friends in Canada and Florida. A private family service will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford followed by interment at Sixth Line Cemetery, Innisfil. Livestreaming of the funeral service will be available for family and friends on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. A link will be provided at: skwarchukfuneralhome.com.
