Today’s larger yachts include more and more amenities to suit owner lifestyles. However, the luxuries these vessels afford demand a great deal of power. Hubbell Marine’s 200A Shore Power system is the first built for megayachts and is the only UL-listed, CSA-certified, 200 amp ship-to-shore system in the world.

To provide superior water resistance, Hubbell’s 200A system is NEMA 3, 4 and 4X-rated per UL50 Standard. For enhanced corrosion and heat resistance, the pins and sleeves are made of nickel-plated Tellurium copper. Swivel/pressure pads are employed for the terminal screws to secure, and to prevent damage to conductors strands.

Hubbell’s copper-free aluminum housing has an electrostatically applied epoxy/polyester finish. The cable clamps securely at four points. It accepts a cord range of #1AWG-250 MCM. Watertight seals on the interfaces are delivered by the sure-grip locking ring.

Hubbell’s 200 amp ship-to-shore system comes with all inlets, plugs, connectors and housings and is fully compatible with other UL1686 Series C1-listed devices. It also mates with UL1682 components from Cooper, Crouse-Hinds, Arktite or Appleton Powertite.
