June 12, 2017

The 50 Cantius has proven to be a runaway success for Cruisers Yachts. Since its launch early this year, it’s drawn rave media reviews worldwide for blending indoor and outdoor spaces in a unified, bright and spacious design. Contributing to its open concept is the Series 80 Marine Sunroof from WebastoThermo& Comfort North America, Inc.

The Series 80 invites in natural light and retracts with a reliable, 12V DC powered automotive-style mechanism. This fully-integrated roof design boasts robust construction and 100% watertight sealing.

“The Webasto Series 80 is a completely custom solution and Webasto’s engineers made integrating it into the 50 Cantius a seamless process. They worked closely with us in a phased project approach from initial design to finished product, sharing their knowledge throughout,” said Jason Ray, senior designer and engineering manager at KCS International, Inc., parent company of Cruisers Yachts. “Each sunroof is thoroughly tested and pre-assembled before delivery, eliminating any concerns about final installation at our facility.”

The Series 80 is perfectly matched to the 50 Cantius, which features elegant contemporary styling and a variety of interior finish options, including charcoal oak or walnut cabinetry. This yacht offers a three stateroom layout, Volvo IPS power and an open main deck floor plan. Full details are at www.cruisersyachts.com.
