A Destroyer Wheel for virtually any boat

Destroyer Wheel

May 25, 2021

With 10 diameters from 11″ to 30″, there’s a Schmitt & Ongaro Marine stainless steel Destroyer Wheel to fit virtually any boat. The sleek polished wheel equally suits main or secondary helm stations. Its sophisticated design matches both classic and modern interiors, yet is rugged enough to shrug off the weather when installed outside.

Manufactured from durable, low-maintenance stainless steel, the Destroyer Wheel rim is sized to reduce hand strain for a comfortable driving experience. Depending on the model, five or six spokes radiate from the standard black or available chrome-plated center cap.

Perfect for both OEM and refit use, Schmitt & Ongaro Marine offers Destroyer Wheels in options to fit a 1″ straight or 3/4″ tapered shaft. The standard dish is 10°; some models also come in a 22° dish. To further suit the specific application, finger grips and control knobs are available on select versions. Schmitt & Ongaro even offers a Destroyer wheel with a polyurethane grip with the look and texture of leather, as well as a model with double rings for a unique appearance.

With a lifetime warranty, Schmitt & Ongaro Marine Destroyer Wheels are ideal for ski and wake boats, dual and center consoles, RIBs and large vessels such as sportfish and cruising yachts. Retail prices start at approximately $130.
