Fender Headaches Gone with Accon Marine Hardware

Accon Marine Fender Hangers

June 24, 2025

Getting a fender to hang just right, where it best protects the boat, takes time, a knowledge of knots, and often a bit of trial and error. And this is repeated every time the vessel is docked, no matter how choppy the water or wet the deck. Accon Marine’s Quick Release Fender Hanger ends this headache. It makes deploying and retrieving fenders so simple even a non-boating guest can do it.

Made of polished marine-grade 316 stainless steel, the 3.6″ x 1.2″ base of the Accon Fender Hanger quickly surface mounts to the deck or gunwale exactly where it’s needed. Then, each fender’s line is tied to the hanger pin’s eyelet to position the bumper at the ideal height, either vertically or horizontally.

Once away from the dock, the user simply presses the quick-release button on the base to release the hanger pin. The fender, line and pin can then be stowed as a single unit. Prior to returning, the pin quickly snaps into place — knots and adjustments aren’t necessary.

Accon Marine Quick Release Fender Hangers come in two sizes: the 401-R-5 with a 0.5″ ring diameter on the hanger pin and the 401-R-1 with a 1″ diameter. Both cost $48.24 USD for a base and hanger pin.
