AFFORDABLE REMOTE VESSEL MONITORING WITH ALBIN

Albin Remote Vessel Monitoring

Jan 22, 2019

Few things worry boat owners as much as water incursion. The damage can range from a ruined cabin sole to complete loss of the vessel. Albin Pump Marine’s new Bilge Boat Monitor System provides real-time critical onboard system data—as well as its location—at an affordable price point. Ideal for any size powerboat or sailboat, it debuts at the Miami International Boat Show, Feb. 14–18, 2019.

The Bilge Boat Monitor System tracks bilge water level and battery status. It includes cSecurity vessel positioning with a tracking alarm that activates if the boat is moved outside a defined area. Approved by international insurance companies, this combination can reduce premiums up to 20%.

Using the Bilge Boat Monitor System is simple. Leveraging the latest technology, it connects to Albin’s smartphone app or website, and requires a SIM card. It’s CE and FCC certified.

Installing Albin’s Bilge Boat Monitor System is straightforward. A DIY project, it needs a 12/24V DC supply. If the power is cut, a built-in lithium polymer battery will keep the system up and running.

Designed for a marine environment, the robust system is IPX6-rated water resistant. Its nominal size of 2.8″ L x 1.8″ W x 0.7″ H and weight of 2.2 oz. allows it to be mounted almost anywhere. In the U.S.A. Albin Pump Marine’s Bilge Boat Monitor System costs $395.
