May 15, 2023

Lippert Components, Inc., a supplier of a broad array of highly engineered components for the leading original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”) in the recreation and transportation product markets, and the related aftermarkets of those industries, is proud to announce its SureShade Battery Powered Bimini by Lippert to the recreational boating and marine industry. Designed for pontoon boats, this battery powered shade is the latest addition to the top-performing product lineup of automatic and manual telescoping shade systems offered by SureShade.

The Battery Powered Bimini is easy to install and mounts to most pontoon rail profiles. This new to market shade system features a sealed receiver that mounts to the pontoon’s deck floor, conveniently located underneath the helm station. The Bimini can be extended or retracted with a simple push of a button, depending on the coverage needed. Charging the battery is easy; simply attach to the 20-volt wall charger. Boaters can expect up to 30 retractions and extensions with a two-hour charge.

In addition to its effortless operation, the Battery Powered Bimini comes as a kit with everything needed for installation. The kit includes a 10’ canvas available in seven fade-resistant colors, two batteries and charger, poles, mounting hardware and a choice of a clear anodized or black telescopic frame that fits pontoon boats with a beam width between 92”-102”.
