Sept 19, 2023

Lippert Components Inc., a supplier of a broad array of highly engineered components for the leading original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”) in the recreation and transportation product markets, and the related aftermarkets of those industries, introduces the new Axis™ Shallow Water Anchor by Lewmar®, a Lippert company, as the industry’s first electrically powered, articulating anchor.

Perfect for anglers, the Axis Shallow Water Anchor gives boaters total control over their positioning, deploying quickly and quietly in just 8 seconds, all with the push of a button. The Shallow Water Anchor is designed to keep boats anchored securely in up to 7’ of water. It features an electric linear actuator which means no hydraulic pumps or hoses, making it lightweight and easily installed.

The Lewmar Axis Shallow Water Anchor comes with everything boaters need for easy installation. The kit includes one set of mounting hardware, an RF module control box, an auto resetting fuse with waterproof fuse holder and a convenient remote control.

“Lewmar has designed this anchor for the avid fishermen,” said Harcourt Schutz, Lippert Senior Director of Sales for Marine Aftermarket. “The 12V powered design makes for a quiet and easy-to-operate anchor in up to 7’ of water. Anglers will want to add this anchor as one of their must-haves when chasing the fish.”
