New gray grille, same bold colors & sound

JBL Speakers

Nov 1, 2022

JBL by Harman has always been at the forefront of audio technology. With its Stadium series marine speakers from ProSpec Electronics, it also leads in design trends, now offering elegant gray grilles as a color choice. The suite of high-performance 6.5″ coaxial, 8″ three-way and 10″ passive subwoofer speakers with RGB lighting not only deliver audiophile-quality sound, but look stunning while doing it.

These Stadium speaker models have a perimeter ring and center-mount that shine seven bright RGB colors for a spectacular light show. When connected to an external controller, the speakers can display virtually unlimited hues. White grilles are also available.

All three JBL by Harman Stadium marine speakers are built for a marine environment, subjected to 300 hours of salt spray testing and rated IPX5 from the front and IPX3 in the back. They feature one-piece cast polymer baskets, sealed magnets and rubber surrounds for high sound pressure level performance. The series’ durable Plus One™ polypropylene woofers and midrange cones contribute to exceptional sound quality, even when blasting over the roar of engines, as do the mylar tweeter domes on the 6.5″ and 8″ models.

What sets these Stadium speakers apart from others is the unique convertible design option of the three-way 8″ model. The speaker can be mounted traditionally as one piece, or its 3.5″ midrange tweeter removed and installed higher up in the boat. This moves the audio soundstage closer to ear level, separating its unidirectional mids and highs from the lower tones, and creates exceptional sound quality at 200W RMS, 500W peak power. A replacement center pod is included to maintain the speaker’s high-end appearance.

The 6.5″ Stadium coaxial speaker has 100W RMS, 300W peak power and is ideal for tight installations. Like all JBL offerings, each is individually voiced to deliver the company’s renowned audiophile sonic signature.

With 300W RMS, 900W peak, the Stadium 10″ passive subwoofer packs a serious punch. The speaker includes switch-selectable impedance to allow the user to reconfigure the audio system for a 2- or 4-ohm load.
