IBEX Debut For The Next Gen in Cabin Comfort: The Caframo® Sirocco II Cabin Fan Booth 1216, Tampa Convention Center, October 4-6

Leading marine fan manufacturer Caframo® will introduce the industry to the next generation in cabin comfort, the Sirocco II Cabin Fan, at next week’s International Boatbuilders Exhibition and Conference (IBEX). See it at booth 1216 in the Tampa, Florida Convention Center, Tuesday, October 4 through Thursday, October 6.

Building on the popularity of the original Sirocco Cabin Fan, which introduced the industry and boat owners to a unique gimbal design for 360° directional airflow, the three-speed Sirocco II with 12-24 volt auto-sensing capability has been designed, engineered, built and tested to the highest quality standards in Caframo’s Ontario, Canada manufacturing plant.

“Caframo is reversing a trend by re-shoring manufacturing of our new cabin fan to our Canadian operation, assuring that the Sirocco II is the most durable, efficient and highest quality fan we can build,” said Brand Manager Dhwanil Shah.

“In addition to that, to help drive sales by our distributors and dealers, we’re supporting the launch of the Sirocco II with the most ambitious advertising and PR program Caframo has ever undertaken, with a reach of more than one million potential buyers,” he added.

The Sirocco II has the same mounting footprint as the original Sirocco, making it easy for owners of the original model, around the world, to upgrade to the new model. “There are more than 65,000 existing owners of the original Sirocco who would potentially be looking to upgrade to the Sirocco II, which would be an exciting opportunity for our sales partners,” Shah said.

The Sirocco II sports a re-engineered grill for greater strength and durability. It also features an improved control layout that is located on either side of the fan for easy access after installation. For added convenience, four timer settings allow the fan timer to be set for three, six, nine or 12 hours.

Available in white and black, the Sirocco II also includes industry leading features standard with all Caframo fans, such as FingerSafe™ blades, auto shut-off, ultra-low power draw, UV resistant materials and compliance with CE standards.

Caframo fans are original equipment on leading boat brands and available at marine retailers worldwide. For more information about the Sirocco II and other Caframo marine products, visit booth 1216 at IBEX 2016 or the Caframo web site.
